The Council of Dragons

The Council of Dragons is an organisation run by the state of Greyacre that has full control over the people and land of Greyacre. The council is responsible for international affairs, passing laws, and the general protection of the Greyacre people. The council was originally formed and chaired by Prince Ulrich, however since the war (and the death of Prince Ulrich and the abolishment of the monarchy) it now has five occupants of neutral standing, that are voted in by The Outer Circle.

Structure

The council follows a strict structure, and every person on the council has their role.

The rules for membership include

1. No two people from the same organisation can stand for membership.
2. A member must be voted onto the council by The Outer Circle.
3. A member may only be on the council for a maximum of 6 years, at which point they must be re-elected.
4. A member can only be elected to the council once they've stood on The Outer Circle for a minimum of a year.

The Outer Circle

The Outer Circle is a collection of thirty advisors that vote members onto the council. These advisors are privy to some discussions on the council, but not all.
Notable current members include Lanstone Gringk and Tomben Ulrich.

History

The following notable members have served on the Greyacre Council:

• Tomagoddaris Copperheart was the original Local Affairs member. He left after three years. His location is currently unknown.
• Adriebrias Stostine was the original Arcane Affairs member, before her death six years after the war ended.
• Saltarius Arcturus Populus was has shared a few different roles, but he was originally on the council at the request of King Tis.
• Lord Phillius Ardiham was one of the original members of the council, passing away a decade later. The HQ of the Guardians of Greyacre is named after him.
