Session 05: Victory in the Underdark onwards to a new journey Report

General Summary

The LoO deliver Lord Veke back to his sister Enikshal.  Rowdy gifts the head of Encharoost the Mad to Mistress Enikshal.  A large military celebration takes place honoring the elite drow warriors who rescued Lord Veke with the help of Sir Piper and his surface dwelling companions.  Rowdy is awarded the Cavelier's Banner during the ceremony.  The LoO are also each given small emblems reserved for the nobility of the drow house of house Voldari in Szith Morcane.  Plus they made out with 19,900 GP worth of loot.  Would have been 20,000 GP but Sir WD has no idea how to bargain! The LoO are visited by dignitaries from the Circle of Eight (Arch Mage Mordenkeinen and Lord Gord) and Arch mage Tesla and his assistant Mage Acretious.  They are sent on a mission to the desert wastelands to stop Lord Soth (a legendary death knight) and his companions from getting a relic Vecna is after in the White Plumed Mountain. They travel 8 days by sea, meeting a skiff transporting wild animals that killed its crew and escaped, and some kelpies; scoring hard with them and partying through the night. They arrive to the city port of Saserine and are looking for a guide to navigate the river.
