Session 07: Aumata mata pia? Report

General Summary

Upon arrival to the village of Aumata Perion, the PCs interrupt a procession of weeping villagers.  A teen girl was to be sacrificed to the mummy lord Aumata the First, the recently resurrected first priest of Istus, a minor goddess of the desert people.  Six months of terror has been endured by the people of Aumata Perion.  All the priests and acolytes of Istus were put to death by the mummy lord, and undead minions were raised in their place.
The LoO assault the temple, destroy the guardian brass golem and the undead sand people.  A rough clash of power in the mummy's lair results in destruction of the mummy lord, his minions, and part of the temple collapses in the melee. 
The Pcs return in victory to Aumata Perion and a celebration is held in their honor till the sun rises.
