Principality of Jalpa

The Principality of Jalpa is a fief in the centre of the Great Kingdom of Aerdy.
The lands in Prince Farland’s fiefdom are similar to those in his nephew’s dominion, but west of the Flanmi river there is an expanse of fairly barren plains which stubbornly refuses to yield anything in the way of plant growth beyond rank, knotted, ground-hugging yellowed grass. There are many tales which explain this blight, but they are only fables for a drunken evening by a tavern fire. This is out of place in these rich, wealthy lands.
