Faldaran flora and fauna require regular exposure to celestial radiance for health. In regions where it is abundant, it causes organisms to develop properties of beauty, charisma, sweetness, richness, brightness, and weightlessness. In regions where celestial radiance is limited, organisms tend to be ugly, unpleasant, and exceptionally violent.
Celestial radiance (or its lack) works in combination with fairy essence (or its lack) in the soil, to create four distinct biomes in Falderal:

• High celestial radiance, High fairy essence - Anaphoria, Alluvion
• High celestial radiance, Low fairy essence - Euphoria, Scoria
• Low celestial radiance, High fairy essence - Feyrule, edges of Dysphoria, subterranean Scoria
• Low celestial radiance, Low fairy essence - Dysphoria

Celestial occlusion is the blocking of celestial radiance, causing degradation of flora and fauna. This condition contributes to Fairy Essence soil depletion.
