Checkov's Tavern

The tavern where you meet other fantasy characters, near the Tourist Dungeon. There is an "empty" Unicorn head plaque up on the wall, behind.
The tavern feels like a D&D style tavern, except that the NPCs have their own questlines, and they're all big, epic adventures with the world at stake. Like, the universe is so crazy, that the fate of the universe is always at stake. And that's just accepted to be going on, low key, in the background. Every 10 years or so, there's another Chosen One of some sort. Every season, someone is trying to end the universe. There's adventurer parties constantly filtering through the tavern.
The culture is very Fighter/Paladin-centric. And you can probably find some elves in the corner bitching about that fact, in high elven, in the corner. And probably many dwarves who blame the whole thing on a conspiracy in the adventurer guild. (Dwarves are strangely anti-union.)
