Personal history
Amelia grew up in a house as an only child for much of her childhood before her parents decided to have another kid - or kids - twin boys to be exact. Amelia loves and adores them, and dotes on them despite them being absolute terrors to everyone.
She learned all about trade and market values, as well as sailing and farming skills, nothing that happened in the district was left without some level of care or opportunity to teach her something. And her mother made sure she was ready to tackle any challenge that might come her way.
She worried her father for years that she might be Bondless; but when she finally got her glowing eyes and bonded with Lacie, he stopped being as overprotective. However Amelia’s mother Ka’Lee has always been firm and constant presence in her life. Her passionate belief in Amelia, and her duty, as well as the fact that bond or no bond, she has always operated under the belief that Amelia would be the finest Rootlord the Eastern District has ever seen. This inclusive mentality she’s worked hard to impart to Amelia.
A couple years after her bonding, Amelia attended the Royal Academy of Magic in the Capital and excelled - earning high marks and establishing herself as a contender and someone to watch in the political scene. It was there that Amelia finally made friends her own age and began adopting a persona to throw off her competitors and those who would seak to use and abuse her. A protective shield that often gave her the ability to really suss out the good from the bad intentioned in higher social circles.
