Gnome

The elven kingdom of Evael has ~100 Gnomish members. Like Half Elves, the Gnomes serve as intermediaries between the Elves and the Human kingdoms of Harn. Gnomes are full citizens of the elven kingdom of Evael and are often seen conducting business within the borders of other kingdoms. Gnomes are Halfling stock, magically altered into their best selves. Gnomes can have children with other gnomes or halflings. And the children will be halfling. The council of elves rarely creates new gnomes by magically altering applicants who vow to serve the Evael. This magical process greatly extends the life of the subject and makes them almost as beautiful as an elf. In order to sustain their immortality, gnomes must return to Shava Forest at least once a year to repeat a one-hour sustaining ritual. Gnomes who miss the ritual will age normally until the ritual is eventually performed.

Gnomes are renowned for their knowledge of nature and their innate ability to interact with natural beasts. Gnomish tinkerers are reknown for their brass clockwork contraptions.
