MIKE Oberon Richter
(a.k.a. Oberon Schmitt)
I've been training like a cross between Batman and Count of Monte Cristo under my mother's tutelage. She's been harsh, but I'm driven, so it seemed natural to me. My folks are named Ada and Hans Richter. a physical oriented class, or a class that can give some revenge-y/punishment powers would be great. In 4e I'd go Avenger, Monk, or Wizard flavored as traps; not sure what or if the 5e equivalent is.
I often get mistaken for a half elf - a mistake I’m glad to disappear into - the Sindarin have a more sinister reputation than the Elves. The Elves are seen as aloof, as distant, working through their half-elven allies, while the Sindarin are seen as skulking spies and agents of direct action against other kingdoms. Being marked as a Sindarin can get authorities in Human, Dwarven, or other non-Elven communities keeping tabs on you, at best. Our connection to the Elves does include these things, but our main, noble purpose is maintaining communications and diplomacy, supporting the more outward effort of the half-elf emissaries.
My Sindarin family was part of a small enclave of half-elves and humans (this is where I befriended Keisa), but my parents have never explained how or why grandfather became a blacksmith, or why we were living where we did. I’ve often thought that our purpose there was odd - I’ve never knowingly met another enclave of Sindarin - but I know that it would cause problems for my parents if I dug into their history.
KNOWN ASSOCIATES: Wardens of the Tree, a group of elven vigilantes.
