Deiantir Alfan (a.k.a. Dreamstrider)
One of the Children of the Oraedar makers Ukran and Vytol. Alfan is the Great Progenitor of the Elves. Dreaming of them, and making them real. The Elves of all their kinds would call themselves Alfari. The Dream-Folk. And Alfan would be named Ariseiune. Dreamstrider.
Alfan led his people in all their time until the day that Vytol presented her gift to the Elven People. The Three Apple Trees. Each offered a great gift. One offered Immortality. One offered The Mages Gift. And another offered a Connection of Spirit to the Land. Two gatherings of Elves partook of all three. But two others only partook of the Mages Gift, and the Connection to the Land. Forsaking Immortality out of an uncertainty of a life without end. After this First Schism of the Elves. Alfans folk grew more independent from his guidance.
But then came the day that Vytol gave birth to the Unsung Child. And that child was taken by The Strangers. Unable to bear the loss of the child, she lost the will to live. And faded from the waking world. Her being changed into something else. Traveling far Beyond what is and ever can be.. Alfan, unable to bear her loss. Fell into a great sleep. Where the Wood Elves he had found Vytol, and traveled through the dream to stand at her side. Giving rise to the Wood Elf belief that when they die, they enter what is called the Seiocalda, "The Last Sleep."
