Gethwen
The First Druid, Herald of The Wid Woods, Husband of Vennesia, The Savior, Sin Stealer. Gethwen
First, of the Elvana, Gethwen was born in the days of The Eternal Empire, when the elves lived forever, when they were as gods amongst mortals, bringing order and civilization to a world ruined by strife. Though little is known of his early life; The Elvana teach that he was the first to see the signs; the decadence, the luxury, and the debasement of the natural world wrought and twisted by elven magic. He began to preach to a select following, heralding that the world they had created could not last, that their utopia would not live up to its namesake and that only by going back to the ways of the ancestors to live like as they did when their Father-Creator still walked the Earth, and the Mother-Creator did not weep tears of madness.
Forging of the Pact
It was during the great fall, that he sought of the ancient wyld trees, and bound his people to them for all eternity. To save not only his disiples but all of the Elva, he took upon himself the burden of removing the root of all their sins, the eternity they had, how he stole eternity from the elves there is no clear consensus upon, but it is said that he sold it the wyld in order to bind his people to the eternity of the wilds.Husband of the Wilds
It is said that Gethwen approached the lone huntress, for his people were ill-suited hunters, their time in high towers had made them feeble and weak to the harsh forests. But she paid them little heed, for who were they to suddenly enter her domain, without permission and claim its bounty as their own. But with great persistence did her wait for her acceptance until he was allowed to attend her hunts, and day by day did she reveal to him how to forage, hunt and thrive within the wilderness. And with time did she come to see herself within the Elvana, outsiders by all, ousted and alone, and together did they make a home for them, however harsh it was.Divine Domains
