Kallarn

The lands of Kallarn were once a thriving land, beautiful as it was lush a vast plain of meadows of grassy hills, it's wondrous peaks and mountain ridges forming valleys of plenty. Now most of it has been lost to the fires of hell, after the grueling war against the false shepherd and his followers.
The Land of Kallarn is generally seperated into 3 regions, Upper Kallarn, Kirahn Plateau and lower Kirahn. Upper Kallarn is an acrid plain and jagged hills and rocky outcrops and old lime stone quarries, known for the open landscape and beautiful vistas and the famous kazarn Sage that grows to an incredible 5 feet, lavender and Salvie creating a beautiful sea of purple and blue.
Kirahn plateau was once the rich basket of the land, now it is a dead wasteland from the march of hell, the earth cracked and dead, no water or life can be sustained in this land, except where the church work tirelessly to sanctify the land to create a few rare havens of life where one can see a glimpse of the old land, the gentle hills and grassy fields, and the vibrant roses though most of the land must be used for harvesting.
Lower kallarn borders the Desorian Sea and once the sparsely populated borderlands, who's only claim to fame was the vast view of the inland sea and the lush forest that dominate the ragged terrain of the land. These days much of the former wilderness is being torn down to sustain new life from the many refugees who've fled the corrupted lands.

Desorian Sea The greatest inland sea of the known world, the Desorian Sea is bounty of life for the land, where fish are plently and quick trade can spread, known for the slightly reddish hue of the water it is quite famous the stunning vista it provides. Tower of the False Shepperd. The once beautiful white tower of our lord Razien, now tainted and stained by the ash of the city that burned around it. It is said that it is here the false Sheppard first summon his infernal legions to claim victory in the civil war. The Waste The name given to the dead and scourged land which the legions of hell desecrated by their passage. One can still find the awful beings wandering it, and thus it is a constant hunting ground for the Order of the Sacrosanct Bolt and for the Arcane Holds

History

Once called Kiruhn by those that dwelled in the land, before the coming of Korvand's favoured general Vestarn, who united the scattered tribes and drove off the hobgoblins that dominated the land.
