Once the greatest city in Bethrum, and thus a target the Norakai would not surrender, their prime jewel and only hard-fought price from the last war, and thus its fate was sealed, the city was decimated widespread looting and destruction could not be reigned in after the new year-long siege had reduced its walls and defenders to nothing, now it largely a ruin, but still many call it home and it's ruined streets the criers for freedom are still song no matter how hard the Korval boot may stamp it.
