The Volendraun Circle
One of the last shamanic cults of The Great Spirits that still practices the ancient arts openly. Respected by the locals and even by the Njalhards and hold too much power amongst them to effectively banned by the League, at least for now.
The Volendraun ensure the balance between the great spirits once and maintained their holy sites to ensure they continued blessing over the land. For if the spirits were not in balance and appeased terrible burdens would be placed upon the lands and its inhabitants. For without balance between that which drives nature there is chaos, and when there is chaos all suffers.
But to the people is Volendraun are caretakers of the land and protectors of the people, they have always been there for them when they have asked for aid. The members of the Volendraun are traditionally drawn from those who have lost their family, typically orphans and widows, as you shouldn't have attachments directly outside of the Circle, as it is considered impure.
Structure
The members of the Circle are all Brothers & Sisters, equal to all but Elder Troels, who is the oldest, if not the first member of the circle. Given his unique ability to project his thoughts into those who have partaken in the joining of the Circle, there is little difference between members or any real positions beyond respect for experience and wisdom, for all are students of the first druid.
