Hamura found a potential buyer for the Power Essences obtained back in March 2020. As he tried to close the deal, factions like the Keihin and Gangbusters attempted to steal the essences before the exchange. Clansmen were sent out to neutralize any threats. Upon reaching the destination, they saw Hamura being pressured by Yamada Nagaoki, who had disposed of his guards. The clan arrived in time and fought Nagaoki, forcing him to flee. Hamura then negotiated to sell the essences to the Hidora clan under the conditions of completing a future job for them as well as receiving a large sum of money.
