History

Originally a small hamlet, the town has slowly grown over the past 700 years to become a waystation village along the main road between Lu Nortte and La Salles.
While still small by any measure, they enjoy regular trade and some of the finery of a larger city without most of the problems a larger city might face.

About 14 years ago, the town made a formal alliance with a previously aggressive Orc Tribe, the Urogash'Hal. These Orcs have given up their ways of raiding and pillaging, and while still primarily nomadic, now work as a merchant caravan both for their tribe and for the town. Traveling and trading as far north as Lu Nortte and as far south as La Salles.

Geography

Surrounded by open plains and occasional rolling hills, and with lake Agricco less than a half-days walk to the north, this town is almost perfectly situated along the River Accos to serve as prime farming land. The soil is rich, the land is flat, and the river makes irrigation simple.

Natural Resources

Aside from the natural grains that have grown here since before the towns founding, they also enjoy ample fish from the river and wild game brought in by hunters.
On a rare occasion the village may quarry out a small hillside for building stones, but no serious mining or logging occurs in this area.
