Personal history
Ianatan was born in Sernos, a city which he grew to dislike greatly. In his childhood, his parents mandated that he join them to worship Boudicca. Ianatan was mortified by the concept of the bloody and violent justice that Boudicca often represented and looked for other options of personal worship. His opportunity came when he met one Loreina Amatalia giving a lecture at the Arcane University in Sernos. The two discussed theology at great lengths, and Ianatan was offered a spot to learn and dedicate his life to Faustina, to which he leapt upon with great excitement. Ianatan left with Loreina without so much as a word to his parents, knowing that they would do anything to shield him from any "heresy" towards their Goddess. When Ianatan arrived in Ailbhafair, he knew he was finally at the home he was meant for. He studied most of his life under Amatalia in the ways of Mercy, and eventually worked his way to High Priest when Amatalia retired.
