Navana Empire, Fallen

Once the main rival to the Uppo, then Guptarid Dynasty, the Navana Empire entirely collapsed in a frenzy of violence by 1400.
While some portions have been subsumed by other entities, much of the former range of the Navana Empire is now borderland wilderness and broken territory, broken into hundreds of small demesnes.
The former Navana territories are a place of chaos, violence and terror to those unlucky enough to dwell there.  Major threats to the inhabitants include the expanding Carkade Empire, the Rakshazan Expanse which while brutal does provide stability and the very darkness of the wilderness itself.
With the loss of Empire, life expectancy, living conditions and central control have plummeted, while the powers of sects & cults and the looming darkness of the void encroach into the daily lives of inhabitants.
