Nasgovian Capitol Building

The Nasgovian Capitol is a government building complex located in the Hooman Nation Capital City. It is where the Hooman Council conducts meetings and is the official workplace of the Leader.

Architecture

The Nasgovian Capitol was one of the first larger buildings that was constructed after the crash of the HCS Zaurak. A lot of the older sections on the complex are built from materials and whole sections salvaged and recovered from the ship.   Newer sections of the Capitol have been built in mind of the older sections. There is still a clear divide between the old structure and the newer additions.

Nasgovian Council Hall

The Nasgovian Council Hall is where the Council Members convene to meet with the Leader and discuss national issues and updates on their Sectors. Meetings usually occur every five weeks unless there is an urgent issue that needs to be talked about immediently.   The only hoomans that are able to enter the council hall are the Leader and the Council. All employees are expected to keep the place clean themselves.

The Leader’s Office

The Leader has a private office that is located north of the building complex. The visitor entrance is manned by the Secretary and the leader’s bodyguards, who only allow permitted visitors in.   Items of note in the interior of the Leader’s office include:
  • Leader’s Desk: Where the Leader does the majority of their paperwork.
  • Sector File Processing: To the right of the desk is a wall of pigeonholes that are labelled with each sector. When the Leader is given projects to greenlight, they will post the files into the corresponding pigeonhole to send back to the right sector.
  • Bookshelf: To the south of the Leader’s desk is a couple of bookshelves, which has various books from over the years depending on who was in charge at the time. The Leader is usually expected to place an extra book on the shelf that they feel will be of use to future leaders.
  • Couches/Table: Also on the south end of the room is a pair of couches and a coffee table, where the leader can either relax or just have more comfortable conversations with visitors.
