Expedition

While investigating Gundren's disappearance The Hottrauler's find that there's more trouble in town.

They discovered a secret way in from a young boy and make their way in via a tunnel into the dungeons below.  They discovered the corpse of the dogs previous owner in a crevasse where they also found 160 sp, 120 gp, five malachite gems 915 gp each), two potions of healing, and a scroll of augury. They also found a +1 longsword in a silver-chased scabbard.    They then discovered a direct secret door that lead to the room of the evil mage Glasstaff / Iarno Albrek. After besting him in combat the mage surrendered and they took Iarno and turned him in to Sildar who imprisoned him in the town jail cell, ready to be sent to Neverwinter to face court.The mayor Harbin Wester though still seemed a little uneasy, as the Manor was still full of Redbrands, as well as The Sleeping Giant. The party returned to the Tresendar dungeon where they found a goblin being forced to dance by three bugbears. The party killed them and sets the goblin free. The goblin was called Droop and he helped them around the dungeon.   They found the wife and children of the murdered man in the crevasse, locked in cells. They escorted the family out safely, and cleared the manor of the remaining Redbrands on the way out.
