The model shown depicts their standard glass box version. The deluxe edition comes in
Wizard Glass, making it ultra-durable and a standout design classic but many times more costly.
All
Imperials should know how an Ec box functions, so I've kept this page brief. Most of you can just skip it, but for those of other races, it might be somewhat interesting.

The drawing shows the basic function of a box. The red-tinted glass option is a slight additional cost but worth it for the classy look it adds to any room.
But for the ultimate, in essence, collecting machines, you can purchase the Superfamily Deluxe model - for the family that has everything and only wants the best.
Who uses them?
No matter if you are an Imperial that lives in the glass houses of
Purista Districts or one living in wooden houses you will own an Ec Box. The Cheapest models are formed of several layers of birch panels that function well but natural warping of the wood over time means essence will escape during the absorption stage. More efficient versions incorporate a rugged glass panel structure with models found in the
Purista District comprised of Wizard glass.
What do they do?
Essence Collecting boxes function to absorb essence that has collected on an individual's clothing over the course of a day. The absorbed essence is conveniently placed inside either an
Essence coin for immediate access to the funds or storage security vials for later use.
Most machines also possess an additional storage container. However, I only recommend getting the secure blood-encoded ones; free-standing containers are open to theft by a sneaky
tainted opportunist.
Vaults
Another common storage option is placing your essence coin into one of the many
Vaults that exist within any Tengland city. Why anyone would be stupid enough to trust their hard-earned funds with an external organization is anybody's guess. In my opinion, Vault managers were spawned straight from
Esh itself.
Have you seen how much they charge to hold your earnings? Outrageous! And don't even get me started on trying to get a loan; They clearly have a vendetta against ex-Archivians.
