Purity Knight Captain
You! Come here! I must question your faith.Protector of the The White Church and welder of the most powerful weapon on Lendor; Exilene - The very blade of Light the White Lord used on his day of purification and granting Crusadas near immortal life. Despite living long enough to have protected the previous three Superiors, this hulking man's strength and stamina remains undiminished. Some argue, his Water-based Sorce combined with his legendary sword makes him the most potent welder of light on the planet. Although the The Imperial Queen and perhaps even King Johan Ganay might contest this claim. His main role is to protect the Father Superior and his first cardinal by leading the Purity Knights (aka Soldiers of Purity) against any threats to the White Lord. This mostly involves using his men to bully Dark Church supporters and crushing any public protests against the Lord of Light. Occasionally he might gather a team of his most loyal knights and go on a witch hunt to remove 'dangerous' religious dissident groups. I have met the White Lord's self-anointed hitman and everything you may have heard about him is true - he is a fearsome and humourless being, but loyal to his company of men, protecting them no matter the cost. Getting in his way allows him to invoke the right of the Lord to extinguish one's light - normally by severing your head clean from its shoulders. If you must deal with the Soldiers of Purity, here's my advice: State your grievance, as rationally as possible, to the most level-headed knight you can find but if they choose to call on Crusadas - Do not argue with the captain, under any circumstance! In fact, I recommend you get the Esh out of there as quick as you can and prey (to the White Lord ironically!) he doesn't question you and your families allegiance to the Light. Luckily, most knights don't possess their captain's single-minded devotion to the Lord making them more reasonable to deal with. In terms of my own safety, he is not a fan of reading so I'm quite sure he'll never see these words.
Sorce Power:
Unlike many of the blessed, Crusadas has no qualms in unleashing his powers for all to see. His primary ability was a Water Aurae that he converted into a Sorce allowing him to supercharge his arms to unleash immense blows with fists that can blast holes in mountains. Combining these strikes with Exilene allows him to slice through any material on Lendor; including the pure essence walls of the Queen's Tremena - despite experts believing them to be impenetrable. (These same 'experts' thought the same about King Tireste's Sorce - and look what happened to him).Battle Balt Career:
Centuries ago, before the Church was so invested in Battle Balt , Crusadas applied his trade in the Tremena as a brutal warrior force that defeated all comers with ease. It is believed he was recruited into the church based on these destructive performances, but the disappearance of the previous Purity Knight Captain and how Crusadas managed to receive the Lord's blade remains a mystery. Once Crusadas unsheaths his sword run as fast as you can!
