Sweet Tooth Foundation for Wildlife
I heard that they are building a petting zoo in 'Okeko! What do you mean, it isn't a petting zoo? How am I supposed to pet all the cute animals?!A land of ice and snow may not be the first place one would think of when thinking “wildlife preserve,” and yet, that is precisely where Huggleland's first civilian animal sanctuary is being built. Lord Ikal Ykul has added to his charitable efforts by funding the construction of the Sweet Tooth Sanctuary. The Sweet Tooth Sanctuary is the final milestone for Ikal's Sweet Tooth Foundation for Wildlife. Until this point, the foundation has supported existing sanctuary's, rescues, and other animal centric organizations. They started the first public veterinary clinic in Huggleland, located in their home city of Bonbon. The clinic is open to all patrons and species. They never charge for their services and want to take care of as many animals as possible. The new Sanctuary stands in the same location a smaller, Elvin sanctuary once stood. Ikal has already begun transportation arrangements for some animals that are currently being cared for in temporary housing, and looks forward to many sanctuaries in the future.
Sanctuary Features
Once it is up and running, the sanctuary will be partially open to the public for limited hours to educate and inspire people. There will be a small entry fee; however, visitors will be able to see and learn about animals they may never encounter otherwise. The Sanctuary also intends to have a cat lounge where you can relax with feline companions searching for homes. How can you help?
