Sweet Tooth

I remember when I was a new bride travelling the world with my sweet husband. I also remember when I almost became a new widow while we were at the Sweet Tooth and my not too smart husband became far too popular with the staff. Luckily for both of us, I am a woman of great patience.

Sweet Tooth is an establishment in the capital city of Bonbon in the 'Okeko Region. It started as a secret hideaway for gambling during the reign of King Soach. After his daughter, Lokahina, ascended the throne, she visited the Sweet Tooth undercover to assess things for herself. She instead reached out to the founder and owner, Ikal, to negotiate changes/improvements that would benefit the establishment and the kingdom. After a renovation, funded by the young queen, the Sweet Tooth was open to all and no longer hid in the shadows. It became a popular destination for not only the locals but the entire kingdom; brining jobs and economic growth along with its success.

Relaxation and Fun

Most of Sweet Tooth is still underground; however, they have come a long way from being a seedy gambling hall. There is a long list of activities for everyone to enjoy. There are relaxation rooms, music parlors, an art gallery, and, of course, gaming. Getting in is free, but to pay for services, you need to first purchase Sugar Chips. You can also win sugar chips playing various games. Sugar chips can also be exchanged for prizes in the “Candy Vault.”

There are three types of relaxation rooms available for those that just want to unwind.

Rooms with padded floors and walls with no furniture; for safety reasons. Once the portable Gorf Lantern is taken out of the room and the door is closed, these rooms are pitch black. Patrons with dark vision can request magical darkness to ensure they get the full experience

These rooms have various cushions to sit or lay on while a well-trained member of the staff guides patrons on meditative journeys.

For couples or singles, these rooms offer a large variety of massages executed by expert hands. Patrons can choose to add music, steam, and fragrances to any massage.

There are two music parlors available to enjoy. One room has an “open” stage where patrons can sign up to perform solo or with their friends. The Other has curated live performances and concerts periodically. Both rooms also contain the main bars for the entire establishment.

The Art Gallery may not be as big and nice as those in Harmony but, it does procure and display art from some of the most talented artists in the world. Ikal changes out the art gallery often and attends the Quokka S.T.A.M.P.D Festival every year to handpick art. If he doesn't find enough individual art to fill the space, he will typically offer a contract to an artist he really appreciates to make art for a year. When it is time to change out the art, Ikal keeps a few favorites before donating the rest to charities, museums, and individuals.

The center part of Sweet Tooth is composed of three large gaming halls where patrons can test their skill, their creativity, and luck.

Skil Hall
The skill hall is the home to sanctioned duels of might and magic. Patrons can enter duels and tournaments, or they can place their bets on the outcomes. The hall has healers and ressurectionists at every match “just in case.” Patrons are required to sign a waiver before participating, but it really isn't a big deal if you don't make it a big deal.

The most popular hall is the Dice hall. The games here require little to no skill. The most popular games are “Fullest Gorf” and “Fours Scores.” They also have “High-low”, “Evens-Odds”, and “White Jill” tables.
Dice Hall

Table Hall
The Table Hall is full of table-top games such as “Gorfs and Swamps”, “BattleMallot 30K,” “Rabid Squirrel,” and “Unalive Group.” Patrons can bring their figurines for the games that need it otherwise, the hall offers figurines for rent and/or purchase. There is a side room where figurines can be assembled and painted if desired as well.

The Candy Vault is the place to exchange Sugar Chips for Prizes. It offers Potions, weapons, armor, toys, costumes, home decor, vouchers, and more. Every month boasts a different “ULTIMATE CANDY.” Usually, this is a rare magical item, or a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Very few ever actually get the coveted prize, but, that doesn't mean it is unattainable.

Sweet Tooth Offers plenty of Food and Drink, which can be enjoyed in most areas of the Establishment. It also has on site “nap rooms” as well as overnight accommodations if needed. There are classes to learn skills associated with the different games, as well as a small library full of literary works to relax with. There is a small infirmary to support the healers at the Skill hall, as well as a morgue (not that is EVER needed). In house security and a small holding cell help ensure everyone stays safe and continues to have fun.
