Death Mountain Area

Death Mountain Area is the unofficial-but-colloquial name given to the mountain range surrounding (the formerly named) Death Mountain. The official name of the range is The Goron Mountains, but as this name has only recently been adopted, most are not in the habit of referring to it as such.
The area consists of a rolling mountain range of dark brown and black igneous stone. Volcanic activities such as lava flows, magma pools, steam vents, and hot springs, are commonplace.
The region is mostly under the control of the Goron Province, although the western border is a under joint control with the Zora March.
