Sheikah Oath

The Sheikah Oath is a ritual, where young Sheikah swear a sacred vow. Once a Sheikah is old enough to read and talk, he or she is brought in front of the Sheikah elders, where he or she reads and recites a pledge, swearing fealty to and protection of the Royal Family of Hyrule, or else suffer death.
A Sheikah who has taken the vow is referred as an "Oath Sheika." Since an overwhelming majority of Sheikah partake in this ritual, it is rare to find a Sheikah that hasn't. Such a Sheikah is referred to as "Oathless" among Sheikah who have completed the ritual.
