Geography

Eldoria is the largest country in Idorin, characterized by diverse landscapes that include dense forests, towering mountain ranges, and rolling plains. The country's geography is dominated by the Misty Woods, the largest forest in all of Idorin, which spans across the entirety of Eldoria. The Misty Woods are home to the elven kingdom in the west, featuring both High Elves and Wood Elves. In the north, the kingdom of men is centered around the Marble City of Arthin. To the south, the dwarven kingdom is nestled within the colossal mountain ranges, with Bali Dul as its capital.   Key geographical features include:   Western Misty Woods: Dense and ancient, this forest is rich with diverse flora and fauna, and it is where the elven cities of Celadur and Eldermere are located. Northern White Mountains: These imposing mountain ranges house the human capital, Arthin, built into the side of a white mountain. Southern Mountain Ranges: Rugged and formidable, these mountains are home to the dwarven city of Bali Dul, deep within the mountain of Balim.

Ecosystem

Eldoria's ecosystem is vibrant and diverse, supporting a wide range of flora and fauna adapted to its various environments. The Misty Woods are teeming with life, from towering ancient trees and mystical plants to numerous species of animals and magical creatures. The forests are home to both mundane and magical species.   The mountain regions support hardy vegetation like alpine flowers and conifers, and are inhabited by mountain goats, eagles, and the occasional dragon. The human-inhabited plains in the north feature fertile lands, supporting both wild and agricultural ecosystems.

Climate

Eldoria experiences a classic fantasy setting climate with four distinct seasons:   Spring: Mild and lush, with blooming flowers and vibrant greenery. Summer: Warm and sunny, ideal for growth and outdoor activities. Autumn: Cool and colorful, with leaves turning shades of red, orange, and gold. Winter: Cold and snowy, especially in the northern and southern mountain regions, while parts of the Misty Woods maintain a mystical, evergreen quality year-round.

Natural Resources

Eldoria is rich in natural resources, contributing to its economic strength and self-sufficiency:   Wood: The expansive Misty Woods provide abundant timber for construction and crafts. Minerals: The southern mountain ranges are rich in minerals and precious metals, including gold, silver, and mithril, extensively mined by the dwarves. Magic Crystals: Found throughout the Misty Woods and the mountains, these crystals are used for magical practices and enchantments. Agricultural Products: The northern plains and cleared forest areas support agriculture, producing grains, fruits, and vegetables, along with livestock.
