Sand Elves are similar to humans in structure but are larger in height.

Geographic Origin and Distribution
Sand Elves are largely located in desert biomes. The main areas they can be found are the Wind Desert and Skiak Trya.
Perception and Sensory Capabilities
Unlike most Elves, Sand Elves do not have the ability to see in the dark. However, they do have the ability to sense motion through the ground, especially in sandy areas.

Major Language Groups and Dialects
The Sand Elves speak a dialect of Elvish that sounds grainer and often rough on the voice for those not trained it.
Common Dress Code
Sand Elves are more likely to be seen in cloaks covering much of their bodies to shield them from the sun. Wide-brimmed hats are also commonplace.
History
When Blinn crafted the Elves, she created the Sand Elves from the desert sands. She blessed them with gifts to help them survive in locations she normally would not reach. The Sand Elves, in turn, praise her for the deposits of water and oases spread throughout the deserts of the world.
Itherion
During Vaalyun expedition to the modern day Southern Spear he encountered the Sand Elves living on its fertile soil. They taught Vaalyun the cultivation of the Undalan Fruit and its many uses. Soon after the Sand Elves and their home became part of the Conclave of Races establishing the modern Southern Spear. During the Dragon War when the Southern Spear and Quine were cut off from the rest of the Conclave. It was knowledge of the area from the Sand Elves that kept the cities alive.Skiak Trya
Deep in the central desert of Skiak Trya is the home of the Sand Elves. The Imperial nature of the Oronians have caused them to be at conflict with each other for millennia. The Sand Elves home cities are unknown to the Oronians making any efforts to combat them one-sided. The deserts are inhospitable to those who do not know how to navigate it.
