Key Data

As always, for those that do not know about the main topic of our discussion, we will summarize the key points for you. Please read before joining the discussion board afterwards.
The Cloudwarden Series is a set of new military grade utility vehicles specially commissioned by the Rox Guild to combat the current monster hoards in the Expo Raids territory.
The Cloudwardens are vehicles that clear out a temporary path from the surrounding Fog to give the main raid Soulventures better odds in their battles. This issue came up in recent months after reports of powerful monsters reached Fort Expo, detailling physical and mental improvements in the beasts upon inhaling a bigger amount of Fog.
The Cloudwardens can carry anywhere between two to four standard sized Soulventures depending on the model, and are manned by an eight soul strong crew, consisting of a commander, driver, gunner, loader and four Warders. While the first four positions are commonly known and tested in the military manning of vehicles, the four warders are in charge of actually sucking up the Fog and storing it.
Here is where the main point of disagreement lies. In order to suck up the Fog, the Warders must all synchronise their bodies to an artifact the Rox call "Warding Battery", whose strength lies in clearing a wide radius of Fog extremely quickly and temporarily storing it inside it. The drawback of this effective clearing is the finite space within the battery. The Warders must circulate the Fog through the team and absorb it into their Warding Lights at an extreme rate in order to keep the battery working.
We all know that the Fog is extremely mentally taxing on the Warders as is, and the chance of one turning into a Swallowed is a risk every Warder has to accept. But the chance of lasting effects from manning this vehicle more than triples when done over a prolonged period of time.

I don't think this is right

My daughter enrolled in the Academy as a Warder two years ago. We were explained the risks in both mental and mathematical ways and thinking about her entering one of those vehicles and maybe coming out as a corpse because her friends had to kill her off before turning zombie is an unbearable thought!
I agree with this concerned parent
I have no kids nor am I a fighter for our world, but knowing that this high a percentage of people risk their very existence to protect us... There has to be a more nondestructive way, right? Hearing this makes me sad and powerless. The fact that we have to resort to such measures shows our weakness not only as Vaporio but as the world as a whole!

It just needs a bit refining

As a humble Soulforge smith working very closely with Warders every week, I have known of this dilemma for a bit longer, and I as well as many of my colleagues are already working on improvements on the Clockwarden Series. I am very much against using these battle vehicles in such an early and untested stage, but not against the refinement and testing of the technology as a whole. With the right safeguards and time I am certain we will solve this serious problem.
But how much longer??
What are you talking about? I was watching my brother smith in his Soulforge for years and in my expert opinion, I see no reason why we can't send willing people into a war we willingly fight for our survival. When there are people that will sacrifice themselves for us, let them! Maybe the cars need more save methods but we have their technology now! What are a few Swallowed in relation to the ground we will gain in the long run??

You are all stupid

My father is Product Manager at Rox and he said that these are all fake news and people should just chill tf out about all this bullshit. Have you ever seen a Swallowed? Iahven't and I bet they are all fake anyways!
