Dead Lands
Along the entire Western border of Rökkurveldi, the land has been scarred by the darkness which looms over it. Though Rökkurveldi does not cast darkness over this land, the intensity of the darkness over their own land bleeds into the Dead Lands. This has made it a quite hospitable home to creatures of darkness from many different origins.
Beyond the darkness, it also holds the many scars of the war between Rökkurveldi and the Grand Cratorian Empire. After the Fall, many soldiers were sent from the capital to fight the forces from the Underdark. Now, these lands serve as a graveyard to tens of thousands of fallen soldiers and civilians, though not all remained in the dirt.
The Dead Lands have become known as a breeding ground for undead and those that they serve. It is not uncommon for hordes of undead to roam this land, but it is nigh impossible to avoid ever encountering at least some if one lives here.
