Alton
Alton was a worn down village that had been forgotten by the original inhabitants. When the Heden people came to the Southern Isles they had little interest in the ruin. When Veli of Greenhaven came to the Isles looking for a home King Skulvar offered him Alton. The two struck a deal, if Veli could rebuild the village and could provide Konrig with food than he would be allowed to stay, and would be made a Chieftain. Veli only had a year to complete this task but by some miracle he managed
The village started just as a single hut with a small farm plot, over the years more people came to Alton, so more houses were made, and the farm plots grew. It eventually became the village it is today, a peaceful farm town just outside of the woods and along the ocean side. Veli Riderson is the Chieftain of Alton to this day. When he joins the gods either his son Uhtred or his son Bjorn will take his place.
