Skulvar is the first and current King of the Southern Isles. Before the civil war Skulvar was Chieftain of is clan in The Vale. When the war broke out Skulvar lead his people to battle, fighting for rights and heritage. Ultimately he failed and was forced to the Southern Isles. He negotiated for the lives of his people with King Titus. So long as they never set foot in The Vale again they could keep the Isles. Skulvar fought to be king through trail by combat with the other chieftains. It was Skulvar who won and so it is Skulvar who leads. His daughter married the son of Filavandrel the Dragon Rider and gave him three grandchildren. His son died when the Isles fell under attack from the Bullks and so it will be one of his grandchildren that will take his place when he dies, unless trail by combat is called. Skulvar and his son in-law lead an attack on Greenhaven. It was only his son in-law's heritage that prevented another civil war after their failure at Greenhaven. Skulvar sent some of the Islanders to The Vale to fight on The Darkest Day. King Skulvar is cunning, cold and dangerous. FAMILY TREE NOT AVAILABLE
