The Snake War
Years ago the Nathair launched the greatest invasion force ever seen at the time into The Vale. With the Dark One finally being returned to the Nathair after so many years the felt strong enough to attack. They united their tribes for the first time in history and with the Dark One on their side they invaded The Vale. Knowing that breaching Xares would be near impossible they surrounded it and starved the city out. The attacked fast and from the shadows and put down anyone who stood in their way. The Human armies fought back with everything they had but in the end they had no other choice but to run. With no allies the humans fled as far as they could until they met a new people, the elves.
The Nathair held The Vale for 21 years, Seating a lord in Xares and reaping everything the land had to offer. Their victory while long would come to end in a matter of weeks. A young Dragon Rider would unite his people and with an army and his dragon would take back his rightful home and drive the Nathair back to the Desert, greatly weakening them. They named this Dragon Rider, Vanquisher.
