Varyana Alleeva
Varyana was the firstborn of Clan Alleeva and the most celebrated of the children. Oskana and Freya were unsure if she could have children, and she miscarried when the two had tried previously. They decided to give it one more shot and Varyana was born a healthy strong half-orc half-goliath boy. Oskana, against the gender naming conventions of the local culture, named the boy Varyana. Varyana grew up spoiled by his parents, freed Goliaths, and Moreska. He was taught carpentry by Oskana after taking an interest in it, and quickly began to value to skill, but was unable to reach even close to the skill of his father. This bothered him greatly and even caused him to rage and lash out when he came in last place in a carving competition that Oskana judged in Goliath Town. Although good-hearted, he grew up impatient and quick to anger, likely due to the Call of Gruumsh and the intense spoiling those of Goliath Town subjected him to. Realizing this after an incident involving his brother Ivana in which he smashed one of his wood carvings to pieces, Varyana began to work on his anger issues and decided it'd be better to move to a quieter less competitive environment than Goliath Town and settled in the nearby Bilowish village of Bittergrass. The village defenders attacked him thinking he was a monster, but he easily disarmed them and explained what he was. Deeply embarrassed the elder of the Town let him stay at his home, and served as a mentor in guiding Varyana through his anger. Varyana has found peace in worship through Duufaan, a god associated with clear-headed action and temperance. He found a halfling wife named Becka Wheathair and is happily married, they raised the 3 kids she brought from her previous marriage; Wayn Buttercheeks, Cawska Cowkin, and Eey Dogtamer.

History
These two Alleeva brothers are more in closeness similar to cousins than brothers. By the time Anatasia had arrived Varyana was a grown man, who was living his own life in Bittergrass, and so the two didn't really interact that much. Varyana was in support of Anatasia going off to battle in the Ishalan-Amatracian War, seeing it as a good way to combat slavery in Ishal. As the war drags on he sees it more as a way for Amatrace to empower itself and wishes he would've protested to Anastasia going.
