Lord Mercy Haventree (a.k.a. the Finder)
A Warden, Protector of Jade, Mercy is a savior and representative of life. Though he is most knowledgeable in forest creatures and domesticated animals, he is still willing to go above and beyond to protect his friends and to protect innocent life. The trauma of his upbringing informs his comedic demeanor and the kindness he shows. During the Age of Light, he is one of few known Wardens, and he bears the title well. He is the father to Respect and Salem Haventree, and husband to Remalia Haventree.

Slim, lanky but not frail. Most of his power comes from his mind and not his body.

Personal history
Born slightly northwest of Vash-hall at the Respect Estate, Mercy grew up with his brothers and sisters in peace and harmony, until Wyatt Franchise, an immortal bandit, destroyed his family and sent him running for the forest.
A local church/monastery took him in. Due to his tiefling race, two warring factions fought to either send him into the forest, or take him in as another human. He was a fledgling priest, until he was a preteen, when he was finally kicked out.
He subsisted and lived in the forest for some time, until he was called upon by Captain Rex and the famous former warden Jonathon Davneiros.
Education
Educated in reading and writing by scribes in a monastery.
Employment
Collects dues from his church, he earns a Vicar's wage.
Mental Trauma
He watched his mother die as a child. Murdered by Wyatt Franchise.
He watched the priest that took him in succumb to disease, inspiring him to become a healer.

His first instinct is to protect the living and nature and the sanctity within. His first solution to a problem will never be to kill.
