was born to the circus as a member of the acrobatic troupe Circus Fonsa in Jessamyne Kaleb is the elder of his sisterBelandra Fonsa. A Jessamyne noble @ Baron Mathias Luchein became enamored of his sister while watching their performance and made ungentlemanly advances. He requested that Belandra meet him for an evenings entertainment. Kaleb disguised himself in her clothes instead. Baron Luchein not noticing the ruse attempted to kiss her. Kaleb removed his wig and exposed himself before everyone in the tavern and several noblemen as he was kissing the circus boy. Kaleb winked and tumbled out an open window. Kaleb preserved his sisters honor but earned the enemnity of a nobleman and it was no longer safe for him or his sister to be a circus performer after this infamous incident.
Kaleb and Belandra fled to the city of Portsmouth and took up a new life as Burglar’s making good use of their acrobatics stealing from the entitled who dwelled in the highest of windows and deemed themselves untouchable it wasn't long before Timothy Smythe befriended them and gave them a place in his windows crew and lodgings at Smythes Laundry They miss their parents but have left their circus life far behind them. Kaleb and Belandra having no place to go fell in at the boarding house of Timothy Smythe’s urchin swell mob and have been there ever since.
They are both regular customers of the Bristli Boar and good friends of neighbor Taryn Smay.
