City Watch

The City Watch is funded by the Hall of Gold and works directly for the city of Port Nyanzaru as opposed to being privately contracted. They form the primary policing and patrolling force of the city. They coordinate with mercenary forces such as the Zhentarim, as well as some of the local population with certain skill sets in tracking and beast handling, should the need arise to corner and capture any targets. Drawn from the local population, they are predominately equipped with Chultan style armours and arms, bronze half-plate, bows, spears and shields. They may not be as experienced or well trained as forces in other cities, but they prove enough for the security of the city, and manning the walls in defence against whatever wanders out of the jungles.
They are led by Soshen, son of Ekene-Afa, and garrisoned in a few locations throughout the city, primarily the gatehouses and Fort Nyanzaru, which is overseen by Castellan Azuil.
