Public Bathhouse

Port Nyanzaru is a very clean city thanks to the cleansing rain, and hygiene standards among the residents is scrupulous, indeed, most would be repulsed by the thought of a day without a bath. There are dozens of private bathhouses around the city, privately owned by richer merchants and nobles, for the use of their friends and business partners, but these public baths are open to all, no matter their station in society. Elegant and colourful ceramic tiles line the baths, and most floors are covered in marble. Labourers rub shoulders with city officials, there is no entrance charge, though a donation to the Temple of Sune who run the baths, is requested, as befitting their wealth, into the marble clamshell that sits at the entrance. The people are so proud of these baths that even the poorest will endevour to leave at least a copper piece. On top of the acolytes and priests of Sune, many independent massuers are available for hire to massage weary muscles.
