Red Bazaar

The origins of the name of the Red Bazaar are unknown, though many ideas have been spread, the most likely being due to the amounts of fresh dinosaur meat being delivered and traded here leaving blood draining through the rain-washed gutters.    Those who buy and sell here are for the most part locals, though some visitors enjoy taking a taste from these traditional local markets. Port Nyanzaru residents shop here for their daily needs. Unlike the Grand Souk, which deals mainly in durable goods and more luxury items, the Red Bazaar trades in more everyday requirements: locally produced meat and vegetables, tropical fruit, clothing, rain catchers, insect repellent, household goods, and the local favorite alcohol, Tej.   Nearby can be found The Thundering Lizard, a very popular tavern favoured by adventurers, and Kaya's House of Repose, a noteworthy inn for tourists and other visitors that aren't staying at the pleasure of one of the Princes.
