Ruza Okuul
The Ruza Okuul was a minor Okuul in Caliban. Headquartered in ________, it was regarded as progressive, broadly exploratory in its research, and often openly reformist in Calibani political forums. It's association with conjuration magic, considered the riskiest magic most prone to abuse in Caliban, made them unpopular with the highly conservative Ghassa and Najalif Okuuls.
Given their contrast to standard Calibani approaches to culture and magic, membership was ecclectic and much more diverse than most institutions in Caliban. Their number included members from across Thrask of varied species with interests and occupations from practical fields like agriculture, smithing, and transportation to complex and abstract subjects including the arts, religious philosophy, and extraplanar exploration. Though these myriad subjects were the source of the Ruza's inspiration and influence, their study created much tension with all okuuls with whom their studies overlapped.
Disbandment
Encroaching on the domains of numerous, much more influential okuuls is likely how they found themselves blamed for the Demon Incursion of 4819 in Quedem Su'fond. Accused of harboring demonic cultists in their registries, their main campus in _____ was burned to the ground and the second largest campus, in the Taghlam Fields section of Quedem Su'fond itself, was zealously raided. Many were killed during the raid, others executed, the rest jailed. The effects of these events were copious and rippled across the magisterium in the aftermath.
