Within the first week their body starts to grow fur. After one month, their eyes and ears open. After 7 months, they learn to walk, and after 1.5 years they begin to learn to talk. At the end of this stage, they are typically about 1 foot tall.Childhood
The prepubescent stage of their childhood lasts for about 9 years, and mainly consists of gradual growth, learning, and development.Puberty
Puberty typically starts at the age of 10, and lasts for about 5 years. What exactly happens depends on whether the Kairothian in question is male or female, although there is a lot of overlap due to there being a low amount of sexual dimorphism compared to Humans or Tseibajeen. History
The Kairothians are a very young species compared to Humanity, and are still in the earlier stages of civilization. Many are still live in tribes, but some have established a centralized civilization and system in a place known as the Holy City of the One. The leaders of the Holy City of the One, known as the Circle of The One, have established contact and strong connections with several tribes living in other areas on Kairothia, including the Saianor tribe, the Sootava Tribe, (alpine tribe name pending), and (desert tribe name pending).
The Holy City of the One was created by another tribe over a millenium ago. Supposedly, the creation of this settlement was inspired by a being known as "The One". This old tribe is long gone, but its descendents grew in number, and eventually established the city as it is known today. It is only within recent centuries that contact has been established with other tribes in other parts of the world of Kairothia.
