Saiannor Village
A permanent settlement where the Saiannor tribe dwells. It is built high up in the trees, as a series of interconnected treehouses. The tribe is ruled by its chief, who is its Patriarch. The tribe is associated with the Holy City of the One and its members are believers of the Faith. It is the nearest in proximity to the Human settlement on the planet, and frequently has peaceful dealings with them. They are one of the only Kairothian tribes who are aware of the presence of Humans on the world.
Demographics
The demographic of this city is 100% Kairothian. Occasionally humans visit from the human settlements.
Government
Every major decision is made by the Chief. Members work for the collective benefit of the tribe.
Defences
The decision to build the settlement off of the ground protects its residents from land predators. A spiral staircase serves as the entrance to the village, built around one of the trees. This staircase is guarded at the bottom by skilled warriors, to prevent predators from entering.
Industry & Trade
Every resident has their role. Some are hunters, some are gatherers. They primarily get their food by hunting land creatures, but sometimes hunt birds as well. They also consume insects and worms which they farm from certain types of trees. Gathered food is shared among all tribe members.
Certain residents are trained to build treehouses.
Infrastructure
Every building in the settlement is either built into, or on top of trees, or suspended from ropes hung from trees. None of their architecture touches the ground, except for the entrance, a wooden pathway that spirals around one of the trees, suspended by rope. Each building is strung together using bridges made of rope and wooden planks.
Districts
Most of the village is jumbled together with no clear districts or sections. Most buildings are dwellings for its denizens.
In the center of the village is a pair of platforms, one suspended above the other, suspended by trees. The upper platform serves as the main plaza, gathering spot, and throne area by the chief. The lower platform serves as a center for commerce and production. Various craftsmen sell their wares here. The lower platform also doubles as a shelter during stormy weather.

Architecture
All buildings are some form of treehouse. They are built both into, and on the trees in such a way that the tree remains alive while serving as a building. Trees can have multiple levels built into them. Buildings are interconnected with ladders and bridges made of rope and wooden planks.
Geography
The surrounding terrain is heavily forested and has a river that cuts through it. There is a swamp nearby close to the river.
Climate
The forest has a temperate climate. In the Summer, the average temperature is about 30 Degrees C. In the winter, the temperature is about 0 Degrees C. There is a high amount of precipitation. The temperature of the actual settlement tends to be colder due to being raised up off the ground.
Natural Resources
There is wood from the trees, meat from the animals, fruit seeds and nuts from trees, and edible insects and worms harvested from certain types of trees.
