The Black Boar Wood

Location

The Black Boar Wood is located in the central area of the Territory of The Boar and Elk Tribes, spreading hundreds of miles to the east, and south, In The Northern Wastes. The woodland is very old and has areas of open vales and glades, small streams and pools of fresh water (good for fishing), raised areas of sloping Hills with deep ravines and rocky outcroppings, among them can be found scattered hidden caves, be wary though as bears or worse can inhabit them or it could be the entrance to a path into The Underdark. The woodland has many species of tree, including Pine and Fir and has an abundance of creatures that can be hunted, which include Boar and Deer, as well as dangerous creatures such as Bears and Wolves. Within this deep woodland many Nomadic Human Tribes, Goblinoid Tribes, and Orc Clans live, roam and hunt, and also often war with one another, The Tribe of The Black Boar are the most dominant of the Human Tribes.

A huge woodland of several hundred miles, with deep green leafed trees, dark, dangerous and foreboding in places, and snow covered almost all year round along its borders.
