Darkwatch Tower
Originally built as an overlook tower to keep track of approaching forces from Lyras, Darkwatch Tower has no fallen into disarray and is rumored to be haunted by a banshee.
Purpose / Function
The tower has fallen into complete disrepair and disarray, but, when it was in use, it stood as one of the tallest lookout points in Ilithi, as well as standing guard over the Darkmist Moors, which was known to contain at least one entrance to the fabled Underdark.
History
Darkwatch fell into disrepair after the Lyras wars ended, but soon thereafter, residents near the tower and in the villages surrounding the moors began making reports of strange occurrences, unnatural fogs, and, worse, the wailing of a banshee at night. 'Screams of the dead' they called it.
Investigations took place, but nothing was ever found. To this day, Darkwatch remains a ruinous visage of the past, avoided by almost everywhere. Few people travel there, and those that do always return shaken and unsure of what, exactly, they saw within it's walls.
It is said that the living do not enter Darkwatch, and those that do are forever changed.
