Tempest Obelisk

Located deep within Thunder Gulch, the Tempest Obelisk is a large, rune-encrusted stone that is said to amplify and enhance the sorcerous, tempestuous powers of those who align themselves with it.  The most powerful of these sorcerers is said to rival the expertise of Arkaine, with the ability to influence or outright control the weather anywhere on Northguard or even as far south as Riverhaven.

It is said that the most powerful can also use the obelisk to transport across great distances, traveling along a streak of lightning in the sky.
