Wanum-Gape
Wanum-Gape, meaning 'Great Lake and Falls' in Tabaxi, is the name given by the Royal Society for the Exploration of the Natural and Physical World to the larger crater lake located within King's Rest.
Geography
Due to it's secretive and holy nature, the depths of the lake have never been fully explored. It is, however, a crater of some kind, a crater many scholars believe was created as a caldera, when one (or more) of the cluster of surrounding mountains erupted sometime in the past. Unfortunately, access to the lake is forbidden to outsiders, so this will likely forever only remain a unprovable theory.
It is said that the lake is wholly bottomless, with it's depths being littered with the bodies of those who were of unworthy blood, forever cursed to roam the depths and haunt the surrounding lakeside.
