Mastaba of the Necrolords

Known as the Tomb of the Gods, the Mastaba of the Necrolords is built atop the highest peak of the area known as King's Rest, overlooking the Wanum-Gape, where the sacred dead can watch over their kingdom for eternity.

Purpose / Function

As the eternal resting place for the Rulers of nearby Twinclaw and ,Edeli, the Mastaba is said to usher their souls into their blessed afterlife, and provide a home for their mortal body to look down upon their kingdom for all time.

Architecture

Made up primarily of sandstone and granite, little else is know about the mastaba, as the original architect is unknown, and the builders were put to the sword after it's completion so they could not tell it's secrets.  Those that bear a litter with a fallen royal into the tomb sacrifice their own lives afterwards, and never return to speak of what they've seen inside.

It is assumed to be inlaid with gold and opulent on the interior, based on the legends and myths surrounding it, but this has never been confirmed.
