The arrival of the Kepek on Keyrae

The Kepek landed on Keyrae, and through events thought lost to history, tension between the Kepek and Saurians grew to a breaking point, causing the Kepek to decide to settle on the moons of Keyrae rather than the already inhabited planet.

sometime around 80,000 years ago, the Kepek found themselves stranded in the space near Keyrae. Their ship was too large to land on the planet, but they were losing power quickly, so a few small expeditions were sent down to the planet's surface in hopes of finding enough resources to restart the ship and get home.
According to their version of events, they sought the help of the "surprisingly advanced" Saurians, but were greeted only with threats and eventually violence when they explained they needed resources for their ship. According to evidence found by modern scholars however, including Saurian documents of the event, the Saurians actually did try to help, but when they realised how much damage the Kepek were doing to their planet to harness these resources, they asked them to stop and only became violent as a last resort when it was clear the Kepek didn't care about their planet's well-being.
Reguardless, the Kepek eventually got their ship started, and it was sent out into space to find a way back home, but the expedition party was left behind as a safeguard. Eventually, the tensions between them and the Saurians became so intense the Kepek decided to leave, creating smaller ships that were able to take them to Keyrae's moons, Cryson, Lunares and Azurni.
