Prelate

The Prelate is the head of the Lysandrian Church. Believed to the closest mortal to Lysander, the Prelate's words are closely followed by governments across the continent. In addition to her spiritual duties, the prelate oversees all of the religious orders, seminaries, and churches dedicated to Lysander throughout Khalon.

Succession

Following the death or resignation of the prelate, Lysandrian bishops from across Khalon gather in Lavenwall to elect a successor. The bishops will seclude themselves, eventually choosing one among them to become the next prelate. This process can take anywhere from a few days to months.
