Bolbae

  The city of Bolbae has been made between the trees. In this vastly, Wildplague overgrown, region of the Dulacar Province, settlers from all over used the height of the trees to their advantage. What once was but a single treehouse is now a city, filled with stores, crafts, people, guards and other major civilisation. The people of Bolbae have a strong connection with the Wardens of Ysala and occasionally exchange information and goods with Ysala.   Magic fills the canopy of Bolbae. Almost everyone uses magic to aid their day to day lives in the tree city. Most of this magic consists of bending nature to one's will for transport, opening doors or communication. People have learned to co-exist with the Wildplague and dare not harm it. Like the Wardens of the Balance faction, inhabitants rather speak of Nature's wonder than the Wildplague.  
Gromsvar District

Demographics

Many different jungle adapted races are present in Bolbae. They come here to live in the peace and tranquillity that it brings. Whoever is kind to Nature's gift will receive the blessing of these people and is welcomed to live among them. Bolbae also has its fair share of adventurers searching for artifacts and other pieces of wealth found in the many ruins that are found in the Bellowing Wilds.

Government

There is no clear government. In Bolbae, there is rarely a need for guards other than the people themselves who keep watch. There is some influence from the Balance faction, but this doesn't affect the day to day life of Bolbae's denizens.

Defences

Bolbae is surrounded by a thick layer of fog conjured by the druids of the mist, to shroud external dangers. The mist amplifies the surrounding dangers even more so that Bolbae does not need any additional defences

Industry & Trade

Many merchants from all over Korthia have set up shop in Bolbae. Many herbs and natural resources are available in Bolbae. The city itself has no industry and has no natural economy. There are no taxes in Bolbae and one can freely live and trade within the city.

Infrastructure

Thousands of wooden buildings are made below and in the canopy of the large trees that grow in this region of the Dulacar Province. These trees reach an astounding 300 feet in length. Rope bridges connect these buildings from one tree to another, though some natural branches and vines connect some trees as well. You will find no stone structures in Bolbae.

Districts

There is but one natural point of entry into Bolbae. Gromsvar, the largest tree in Korthia is the centre of Bolbae. One can take either the long wooden staircase that spirals around Gromsvar to the upper level or pay for transport via vines. Once at the upper level, there will be many rope bridges one can take to reach the far corners of Bolbae. Wooden platforms are supported by beams that stick out of Gromsvar, either man-made or natural branches. Gromsvar houses "The Grove" district.

Guilds and Factions

On the most South-Eastern part of Bolbae, the house of leaves is built. This building houses some members of the Balance faction and is an official embassy in Bolbae. The druids of the mist are found at the very top of Gromsvar, from which the Mistweavers conjure the thick layer of mist

Architecture

All structures are made of wood. Because of the many races living in Bolbae, one may see all kinds of architecture. From beautiful curving, elven buildings to efficient, squared dwarven buildings.

Natural Resources

There are many resources to find in and around Bolbae, both flora and fauna. Some say that Gromsvar was the first piece of nature to be touched by Nature's gift.
